Bryson Brewer posted a highlight on Twitter from a spring practice in which he sprinted down the field, stayed a couple of steps ahead of the defender along the way and caught a touchdown pass as he crossed into the end zone.
The moment offered a glimpse of Brewer’s potential as a go-to threat in Navarre’s passing attack. He plans to unleash that potential this fall when the Raiders hit the field for the 2017 season.
The rising senior is confident he can make it happen.
“I always feel like when the ball comes my way I have to make a play, especially being a senior,” Brewer said. “We have great receivers on this team and I feel like I can be one of our deep threats.”
