Taf Bentley has resigned as the head boys basketball coach at Navarre High School, effective immediately.
Principal Brian Noack confirmed the resignation via email Tuesday morning. Bentley is no longer teaching at either.
Raider athletic director Scott Murphy didn’t know why Bentley turned in his resignation and said no time table has been set to fill the position.
Bentley was under investigation for alleged sexual misconduct in December and did not coach or teach while the investigation took place. He was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing and returned to teaching and coaching.
The Raiders finished 12-13 this past season, losing in the first round of the district tournament.
