Navarre’s girls basketball team won its final home game of the regular season Monday night, knocking off West Florida Tech 45-43 in a thrilling non-conference game.
The Raiders picked up their fourth win of the year behind a stellar effort from Ty Stringfield. The senior standout lit up the scoreboard for 17 points and pulled down 15 rebounds.
Fellow senior Skye Buckner poured in 10 points and junior Killian Casey came through with nine points.
It hasn’t been an easy year for the Raiders but they continue to battle. After closing out the regular season at Crestview tonight, they will open the district tournament Tuesday night at home against Niceville. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
Tate and Gulf Breeze will play in the other district tourney semifinal, squaring off at 5:30 p.m. in Navarre.
