Spring football is underway for the University of West Florida football team. In some ways, you could say it’s spring ball part two. After all, the Argonauts got more than a month of extra practice time thanks to last season’s playoff run.
“We got a ton of stuff done in that time and feel like we are so much further along this spring,” UWF head coach Pete Shinnick said.
The Argos were 11-4 last season and finished as the national runner-up in only their second year of existence. Spring practice started Saturday and ends April 21 with the spring game at Pen Air Field.
