Navarre’s girls and boys soccer teams are ranked in the top eight in the latest FHSAA 6A-Region 1 playoff rankings.
The girls are in fifth fifth with an RPI of 11.786 but aren’t far off from moving into the top four. Fleming Island is just ahead of Navarre with an RPI of 11.795.
Creekside (15.666), Chiles (14.796) and Lincoln (14.222) are the top three teams in the poll.
The top eight teams make the postseason, with the four district tournament champions in each region receiving an automatic bid.
Navarre’s boys soccer team is seventh with an RPI of 11.011 and alive and well in the hunt for a playoff spot. Niceville is the top team in the region and the state with an RPI of 20.923.
In basketball, the story is a little different at the moment as both the girls and boys teams are on the outside looking in with the postseason.
Navarre is 10th in the poll in girls hoops with an RPI of 3.706. Mainland out of Daytona Beach is currently holding down the eighth and final spot (8.001).
Wekiva is the No. 1 team, sporting an RPI of 15.920. Pace is the highest rated area team, sitting in third behind Lincoln (15.460) with an RPI of 12.692.
Creekside (11.138), Crestview (8.868), Leon (8.630) and Columbia (8.510) are also in the top eight.
In boys basketball, the Raiders are 13th with an RPI of 1.034. Lincoln is the top team in the region with an RPI of 16.860. Tate is the only area team in the top eight with an RPI of 12.347, good enough for third.
