Holley pickleball court ribbon cutting set for Thursday

The public is invited to join Santa Rosa County for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16, to celebrate the opening of the new pickleball courts at Lenny James Tolbert Memorial Park (formerly Holley Ball Park), 3124 Bob Tolbert Rd. in Navarre.

Because a long-disappeared memorial plaque for Lenny James Tolbert is yet to be replaced since its uprooting during Hurricane Ivan in 2004, the Board of County Commissioners voted to rename Holley Ball Park to Lenny James Tolbert Memorial Park.
