Westbound traffic on U.S. Highway 98 came a crawl near Pullum Street Jan. 8 after a collision flipped one car onto its roof. According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the driver of the flipped Honda CRV was transported to Fort Walton Medical Center but only sustained minor injuries in the crash. The CRV was flipped after allegedly trying to turn left onto Pullum Street from eastbound 98, crossing in front of an oncoming westbound car. The oncoming car collided with the right side of the CRV, causing it to flip on its roof. The other driver was uninjured, and the CRV driver has been cited for failure to yield.
