Remote instruction at UWF extended through spring

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the State University System of Florida directed all state universities to conduct the remainder of their spring semesters remotely.

No COVID-19 cases have been reported at UWF. However, the decision is following the general public health principle of limiting interaction of people within larger groups. The hope is that it will diminish disease transmission.

UWF is making every effort possible to be considerate of the instructor and student concerns. Students should contact their instructors with any course-related questions or concerns.

Because of the decision, commencement will not be held in May. More details on an alternative will be provided down the road.
