Recycling has been out of service in Santa Rosa County since April 2019 when ECUA abruptly canceled the county’s contract, but county attorney Roy Andrews told commissioners in December 2019 recycling would be back operational Jan. 1.
But the loads of paper, plastic, cardboard and metal are still going to the dump.
