Record number of artists join woodfire festival

As Gulf Coast Kiln Walks’ fire-breathing beast in Holley sparked to life last week, a team of potters tended the flame in hopes of creating one-of-a-kind masterpieces.

This dragon goes by the name “anagama,” and its belly holds some 700 works of ceramic art, submitted by a record number of artists for the annual Wood Stoke Festival.
