The ninth annual Rat Pack Reunion fundraiser raised more than $200,000 Oct. 25, making it the most successful events in its history.
The event was hosted by the Council on Aging of West Florida, and it helps increase awareness and support for senior citizens in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
The money raised will go to support programs and services provided by the council, including Meals on Wheels, in-home services and more.
“We had one of the best Rat Pack Reunions ever because of the hard work, creativity and
generosity of our community,” said Larry Morris, Rat Pack committee co-chair. “We raised a lot of money for senior adults and will literally put food on the table for many of the elderly in our community.”
