Navarre’s girls cross country won its division at the Pace Patriot Invitational Saturday.
The meet was divided into four divisions. The Raider boys team placed third in its division.
For the girls, their accomplishment was fueled by three first-place finishes, including a win over Lily Campbell. She clocked in with a time of 21 minutes and 52 seconds.
Athena Hicks placed fourth in a time of 23:40 and Kada Beihl crossed the line in 23:41 to finish fifth.
Saylor Marlow ran a 24:26 to notch 10th-place overall.
Sailor Reynolds placed 14th, recording a time of 25:56, and Kadi Casey finished 20th in a time of 26:44. Morgan Hill rounded out the top seven for Navarre with a time of 28:00. She finished 27th.
Luke Morris led the way for Navarre’s boys cross-country team. He took fifth overall in a time of 17:56.
Jackson Garrison took 10th in a time of 19:00. Logan Escobedo ran a 19:13 to place 12th.
Branden Heinke clocked in with a time of 19:51 to place 18th and Joshua Alt took 22nd in a time of 20:05.
Ivan Bateman (20:13.23, 25th) and Gavin Anthony (20:13.91, 27th) filled out the top seven for Navarre.
