Raiders close out regular season against Niceville

Friday night at Bennett C. Russell Stadium, Navarre’s football team will close out its regular season against Niceville in a 7:30 p.m. showdown.

Ranked 10th in the state and 7-1 on the season, the Raiders will be looking to take down the Eagles for the third consecutive year and take a ton of momentum into the playoffs.

Last Friday night Navarre knocked off rival Gulf Breeze 29-23 to claim the Beach Bowl Trophy, the District 2-6A championship and automatic berth to the playoffs.

The Raiders enjoyed the victory over the weekend but now turn their attention to an Eagles team that is 6-2 on the season and could very well be Navarre’s opponent for the first round of the playoffs next Friday night.

Navarre has won 28 of its last 30 games in the regular season and is 26-2 in the regular season over the last three seasons.
