Raiders battle Dolphins to a tie

During the same week that Navarre goal keeper Jessika Seward made a verbal commitment to Wright State, those in the crowd at the Raiders’ showdown with Gulf Breeze last Tuesday night saw why she has the talent to play at the next level.

Seward made nine saves, including one on a penalty kick late in the second half to help the Raiders play to a scoreless tie with the rival Dolphins.

The two teams banged away at each other at midfield.

“I had to make some positional changes because of the physically of the play at midfield,” Navarre head coach Rob Simon said.
