Here on a Tuesday afternoon in early October, Navarre’s boys golf team is on the driving range at The Club at Hidden Creek.
It’s the team’s first time back on the course since Hurricane Sally ripped through the area in mid-September, bringing down trees and flooding sections of the course.
It’s not as if this season hadn’t already had enough adversity to it. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the season to begin a month later than normal.
But a hurricane on top of it made things more difficult. The Raiders have had to scramble to get matches in. Practice has been nearly non-existent.
