After four weeks of waiting, there is a chance former Navarre football star Jordan Leggett will play Sunday afternoon in the New York Jets’ game against the Cleveland Browns.
Sidelined since the preseason because of a knee injury, Leggett was a limited participant in practice Wednesday. In past weeks, he had sat out of practice because of his injury.
The fifth-round pick of the Jets could be a valuable receiving threat for the Jets if healthy. He is listed as the backup to starter Austin Seferian-Jenkins and is hoping to see action in a meaningful game for the first time since January when he helped Clemson win the national championship.
The Jets are 2-2 and have won two in a row entering their game with the Browns in Cleveland.
