Not even a pandemic could stop The Pink Pirates of Navarre in their pursuit to fight breast cancer.
Runners and walkers dressed in pink and united Saturday, Oct. 17 for the annual Pink Pirates Breast Cancer Annual 5K.
This year was a little different from years past due to COVID-19. It was free this year and did not have a race timer or award ceremony. The race started at 8 a.m. and ran through noon.
Although there was an official start, runners and walkers could start the 3.1-mile race whenever they wanted, to socially distance.
