During the past five months, adults with cognitive and intellectual disabilities who live in group homes have been forced into quarantine, causing confusion amongst the residents.
Per the Governor’s order in response to COVID-19, all group home residents have been forced to remain in their home for more than 150 days. Visitors have not been allowed in the home, including family. Group homes fell under the same governor’s order as assisted living facilities in March.
