Ogden ready to walk for a good cause

The Longest Day will also be known as the longest walk Kathleen Ogden has ever taken.

A Gulf Breeze resident, Ogden will spend 14 hours on a treadmill to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

She’ll do it from sunup until sundown June 20, the day of the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. It’s also the day the Alzheimer’s Association highlights to fundraise for the fight against one of the nation’s leading causes of death that has no prevention, treatment or cure.
