Deputies arrested a Navarre woman Thursday morning for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend with a kitchen knife.
According to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office press release, deputies were called about a stabbing on the 7500 block of Blackjack Circle in Navarre.
The male victim had been stabbed in the abdomen and also cut on his arm. He told deputies that his live-in girlfriend, Cara Lynn Owens, 44, attacked him with a kitchen knife during an argument.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening according to the press release.
Owens was charged with felony aggravated battery. She is being held in Santa Rosa County Jail.
