Grady Kelly watches combines on television when he gets a chance. Now, he’ll have an opportunity to be part of one.
Kelly is one of the top defensive linemen in the nation. He is joining Navarre teammates Elijah Melendez and Jeremiah Chavis-Mhoon at the National Combine at the Alamodome in January.
Assistant coach Antenney Hemingway nominated the three junior standouts to be a part of a group of 600 underclassmen.
“The invite is very humbling,” Kelly said. “It’s awesome. I’m blessed to be invited. I’m glad the hard work in practice and in games has paid off.”
Offensive linemen Melendez and Chavis-Mhoon are equally excited about the opportunity to show out at the combine.
“It’s a chance to put my name out there,” Chavis-Mhoon said.
