UPDATE 9 a.m., Sept. 19: The check point on Navarre Beach will discontinue at noon today, restoring beach access to everyone. Santa Rosa County’s curfew has also lifted.
Navarre Beach partially reopens to visitors Saturday, according to a Santa Rosa County press release.
The beach area east of the pier as well as the Navarre Beach Marine Park will be open to visitors, and the beach check point will move to the west pier parking lot. Only residents, workers, business owners and verified guests will be allowed on the western portion of the beach.
A portion of Navarre Beach Fishing Pier will reopen as well, although the end of the pier remains closed for repairs.
The Navarre Beach Boat Ramp along with the floating dock/kayak access on the sound side on Navarre Beach will remained closed for safety until further notice.
Do not go past safety barriers at the boat launches or on the pier.
Navarre Beach restrooms are open with exception of the Black Skimmer Pavilion.
