Visitors to Navarre Beach for July Fourth fireworks this weekend should plan for crowds.
The annual patriotic, pyrotechnics display draws thousands of beach goers each year, but with many neighboring displays cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns, Navarre’s show may see more visitors than usual.
Pensacola Beach, Blue Wahoos Stadium, Fort Walton Beach, Destin Commons and Milton shows have all been cancelled or postponed.
Navarre Beach’s display will be launched from the end of the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier on the gulf side at 9 p.m.
Those planning to visit the beach Saturday are encouraged to arrive early, be prepared for crowds and be sure to socially distance from other groups on the beach.
