Approximately 200 students of Gulf Pointe Latin School in Navarre watched Sept. 23 as a naked man ran through the school grounds.
The man fled from first responders through the woods, then he ran through the school grounds, according to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report. He has been identified as Jason Boucher, 32, of Navarre.
The incident began as a water rescue call in East Bay Boulevard off Boat Club Lane. EMS observed a male with no clothes on get out of the water and begin running into the woods to the west.
An officer later saw the man emerge from the woods onto Gulf Pointe’s property, running through the parking area around 8 a.m. There were approximately 200 students on the playground at the time who viewed Boucher on property. Gulf Pointe is a gated private school.
The officer detained Boucher. Scratches covering Boucher’s body were consistent with running through the woods naked, according to the report.
Boucher’s charged with misdemeanor indecent exposure of sexual organs, misdemeanor trespassing on school grounds and misdemeanor disturbing the peace, interfering with school. He was transported to Santa Rosa County Jail, bond set at $2,000.
