A season of uncertainty just got a little more uncertain.
The Navarre Raiders will not play Fort Walton Beach Friday night at home but are seeking out another opponent.

The decision to not play FWB was made by the Raiders, according to head coach Jay Walls, who spoke by phone Saturday afternoon.
“We decided it was in the best interest of both teams to not play,” Walls said. “But we are trying to find another game.”
Navarre had to cancel this past Friday’s game against Niceville due to COVID-19 concerns. The team learned mid-morning Thursday that a player had tested positive and Walls said that eight starters would have been out due to exposure.
FWB didn’t play this past Friday either after shutting down its game with Pace over COVID concerns.
Walls is hopeful he can find a home game for this coming Friday but didn’t rule out playing on the road.
“We would consider a road game depending on where it was, but we’ll know more next week,” Walls said.
The Raiders are 3-0 on the season and last played on Oct. 8 against Choctaw at Bennett C. Russell Stadium. They won that game 50-21. It’s the only home game Navarre has played up to this point this season.
