It’s less than 24 hours to Election Day, but most Santa Rosa County voters have already cast their ballots.
More than half (56%) of Santa Rosa voters either opted to vote by mail or early vote over the last few weeks. And that trend extends to both major political parties in the county. Democrats and Republicans turned out about 60% of their local voters.
Top 5 Early Voting Precincts
|Precinct #||Area||# of early votes|
|1. 34||Holley by the Sea||4,747|
|2. 26||East Navarre||3,358|
|3. 24||Pea Ridge||3,203|
|4. 35||Biscayne Point (Navarre)||3,134|
In the last presidential election, 68% of Santa Rosa voters turned out to the polls. Election Day will show whether this year breaks that total or not. Supervisor of Elections Tappie Villane has said to expect crowds at the polls Tuesday.
