Adding to a growing list, retailers such as Target, CVS and Walgreens will be requiring customers to wear masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Many national and regional retailers have issued mask mandates in the last week, looking to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Company executives such as those at Walmart have indicated there will be exceptions made for those that cannot where a mask for reasons such as medical concerns.
Locally, the cities of Pensacola and Gulf Breeze have issued local requirements for masking in buildings.
News reports and company websites state the following retailers have issued requirements for customers to mask:
- Sam’s Club
- Panera Bread
- Best Buy
