Meet a Gulf Breeze woman whose home has turned into a museum

Whether it’s the international collection of dolls throughout the house, the two-foot long Japanese fish sculpture at the front door or cabinets stuffed with authentic German bier steins, Diedra Juniper’s Gulf Breeze home resembles an international culture museum more than a slice of suburbia.

Her decor reflects a life lived worldly.

Juniper is a 73-year-old retired teacher and Department of Defense contractor who made her living traveling the globe and shaping young minds.

“The award in teaching is opening windows and doors where students say ‘God, look what I did and can do,” she said.
