Marking the start of senior year

Gulf Breeze High School seniors flocked to the parking lot of their school Aug. 11 to claim their seniority and cover their personal asphalt parking spots in paints of all color and customized designs.

Rising senior Jace Peterson was eager to commemorate the start of his final year by painting his “Lyrical Lemonade” parking spot, inspired by his love for rap music.

“I’m pretty excited honestly. I’ve been looking forward to senior year, so I just hope it goes well with the coronavirus going on,” he said.
