Water board continues pro search following criminal charge

Holley-Navarre Water System General Manager Ken Walker recommended former Tiger Point Country Club golf professional Tony Silva as the general manager of The Club at Hidden Creek.

“We think he’s able to handle that role,” Walker said at the Dec. 16 water board meeting, noting Silva had agreed to take the job, which pays $68,000 per year plus up to 10 percent of net profits.

But after board members learned the job wasn’t advertised and news of a November larceny charge against Silva surfaced, they decided to extend the hiring process.
