Wine & Dine for Dravet

The Dravet Syndrome Foundation is pleased to announce Wine & Dine for Dravet in Honor of Charlotte organized and hosted by Cheryl Chant and Ken Rudzki, Charlotte’s grandparents. It will be held at Juana’s Club Pagodas/Sailors’ Grill from 6 to 9 p.m. The event will feature live music by Stevie Hall and a wine tasting with featured dinner is available along with a silent auction and door prizes. Give Kids A Smile Day

Pensacola State College will provide free dental services on Give Kids A Smile Day on for Mar. 2 and Mar. 3, on the Warrington campus. Available to underserved children in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, the college’s dental hygiene students and faculty along with Pensacola dentist, Dr. Neil Simmons, will provide preventive care ─ cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and restorative services ─ fillings, extractions, crowns, etc. The services are available to children ages 4 to 18, however patients must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. From noon-5 p.m. Friday, children can come in for a voluntary pre-screening to cut down on wait times on Saturday when the services will be performed from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Some preventive care also will be provided on Friday. Riverwalk Arts Festival

The Riverwalk Arts Festival will be held Mar. 3 & 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 6815 Caroline St., in Milton. This festival features juried fine art, heritage folk art, cultural performances, continuous music and food, the All County Youth Art Exhibit and a cool Kids Fun Zone. For more information, visit

Northwest Florida Forestry Conclave and Lumberjack Festival

Cross-cut sawing, axe throwing, pole tossing and bluegrass music are among the many activities on tap for the 30th Annual Northwest Florida Forestry Conclave and Lumberjack Festival. The event will be held from 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Pensacola State College’s Milton campus, 5988 U.S. 90.
