Siblings want to live together again with forever family

Three very close siblings, living in three different homes, are anxious to be back together again. They thought this was about to happen then tragedy struck, and they are still separated.

Thomas is the oldest. He is extremely active and playful. At the same time he is also dealing with lots of difficult behaviors and conflicting emotions. He loves swimming, basketball and of course, video games. He is very affectionate and loves to snuggle while watching TV. He has been diagnosed with developmental delays and autism.

In school where he is in the fourth grade, he receives special services that focus on helping him with his behaviors that can sometimes be explosive or immature. He also receives speech therapy and is also working on improving his social skills. Over the last several months Thomas made tremendous progress. Unfortunately however, he recently had to be moved and his behavior has been deeply impacted by that loss.

Beautiful Tamara has cerebral palsy. She wears braces on her legs for support when she walks. She is also somewhat shaky. Sometimes her speech is difficult to understand. Intellectually she is functioning mildly below average.

Tamara is a very active, sweet little girl who gets along well with her playmates. Her teacher describes her as “sweet, cooperative” and as “making friends easily.” She is also in the fourth grade in a self-contained classroom where she also receives specialized services and therapies. Tamara loves playing with her dolls and dress up.

Danielle is a bubbly little girl who especially loves one-on-one attention from adults. Like her brother and sister, she is very active. She is very smart and does excellent work in school where she is in the second grade. Her teacher describes her as “sweet and cooperative” and as a child who plays well with others and who is very appropriate in the classroom.

Thomas was born in April 2005. Tamara was born in May 2006. Danielle was born in October 2007.

There are more than 500 children in temporary foster homes in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. They have been abused, neglected or abandoned. While some may eventually return to their birth families, the rest will need adoptive families.

Families First Network is a community-based care agency that provides foster care and adoption services for children and families in the Northwest Florida area from Escambia County east to Walton County.

Families interested in adoption can contact Families First Network at 1-866-313-9874 in Pensacola.

Siblings Thomas, Tamara and Danielle are looking for a forever family where the three can live together again. Currently, unexpected circumstances have left them living in three separate homes.
