Sea Turtle Extravaganza teaches pollution solutions

Sea creatures constructed from garbage and turtle-tastic crafts were a few of the activities at this year’s Sea Turtle Extravaganza hosted Saturday by the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center (NBSTCC).

Dozens of volunteers interacted with visitors, teaching about conservation of one of Navarre Beach’s most prominent creatures: sea turtles.

Volunteer Kade Knighten, 12, said one major goal was to raise awareness about the dangers of litter.
