No charges are being filed against Ronald Bliss of Birmingham Drive in Navarre for killing three dogs. All reports indicate he was protecting his chickens from being attacked by the dogs in his yard.
According to reports filed by both Santa Rosa County Animal Control and the Sheriff’s Office, Ronald Bliss came to his home on Birmingham Drive on Dec. 6 to find a large black dog eating one of his chickens in the roadway. He says he scared the dog off and went to tell the owner to get his dog. When he returned to his residence, he found the black dog and two puppies in his yard eating more chickens.
