As a celebration of a successful first season, the Navarre Beach Lifeguard program held an award’s ceremony and shrimp boil Aug. 30 at their new building in Navarre Beach Marine Park. During the ceremony, lifeguard Aaron “Spike” Telatovich was named lifeguard of the year for his work.
“He is honestly one of the best lifeguards I have ever worked with,” said Beach Safety Director Austin Turnbull.
Telatovich said he is proud to be a part of this program.
“This organization has made leaps and bounds, and I am honored to be part of this first year and all the change that has happened,” he said.
