Myrtle the Turtle welcomes visitors

Santa Rosa County’s newest ambassador, Myrtle the Turtle has found a home at the I-10 Florida Welcome Center greeting visitors to the Sunshine State and promoting tourism for Santa Rosa County.

Myrtle was hand-painted by artist Alicia Hansen who used the turtle’s shell to feature the highlights of the county’s attractions including Historic Milton, Navarre Beach and Florida’s Playground.
