Meet My’onia, an amazing 13-year-old youth with diverse and creative interests.
She is an A and B student and plays the king baritone horn in her school band. My’onia enjoys playing video games, watching anime, skating and spending time with her friends.
She dreams of becoming an artist or a singer when she grows up.
My’onia says she would like a family with animals and parents who can provide her with one-on-one attention. My’onia would do well in a family that gives her the freedom to make her own choices, while also helping to guide her in the right direction.
There are more than 500 children in temporary foster homes in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. They have been abused, neglected or abandoned. While some may eventually return to their birth families, the rest will need adoptive families.
Families First Network is a community-based care agency that provides foster care and adoption services for children and families in the Northwest Florida area from Escambia County east to Walton County.
Families interested in adoption can contact Families First Network at 1-866-313-9874 in Pensacola or by contacting Community Relations Manager Michelle Giordano at firstname.lastname@example.org.
