Celebrations are already underway across the region as Mardi Gras season gets the good times rolling with events leading up to Fat Tuesday on Feb. 13. For Navarre, the culmination of the celebration will come Feb. 3 during the annual parade.
Though the parade itself is free to visitors and will only last a few hours, a lot of preparation goes into it by the Krewe of Jesters, which puts on the parade each year.
Wayne Hall has been heading the parade committee for 14 years, and he said it is a year-round job.
