It’s Earth Day Every Day

The Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center celebrated Earth Day Every Day last week, a free festival showcasing critters and conservation. Rick O’Conner of UF/IFAS Sea Grant program brought two terrapins, Ozzie and Shelly, to teach local children about native species.

 

 

 

 

 

A yellow foot tortoise greets visitors at the Animal Tales booth. Visitors had the opportunity to interact with a scorpion, snake, hedgehog and other creatures from around the globe.
