Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners gave final approval Thursday, Aug. 25, for the final platting of Holley Hills subdivision, and construction of homes could be underway as early as September.
The triangular plat was separated into 55 lots located off Highway 87. The entrance will connect from Randal Drive, less than a mile south of the East River Boat Ramp.
County Project Engineer Marc Bonifay oversaw the project to this point. He said the entire infrastructure has been put in place. The next step will be submitting the building permits and building the final structures.
“The infrastructure is pretty much complete,” he said. “At this point the chunk of land has been divided up into the individual lots.”
The BOCC also approved construction of Holley Hills Circle, a road loop to provide access to the soon-to-be homes and an entry street called Dean Creek Street.
