The Holley by the Sea Homeowners’ Association (HBTS) board voted June 11 to pay $2,000 for off duty sheriff’s deputies to monitor traffic and write tickets.
Board North Vice President Mike McKinney proposed the plan as a way to tackle ongoing complaints of speeding along the subdivision’s major roads such as Edgewood Drive and Sunrise Drive.
