In the Streacker home, the sound of cartoons on the television is common. With two boys, ages 22 months and 4 years, the house is always busy. Junior, the youngest, ran around the house, cracker in hand, chasing the family tortoise.
His Superman pajamas declared him “brave, strong, huggable.” Junior is not one to meet a stranger, and he immediately asked to sit on the lap of a visiting reporter. He played with her pen as she talked to his parents about his life.
The only signs of Junior’s rocky beginning are a barely visible feeding tube running underneath his pajamas and the hint of a surgery scar just peeking out of his shirt collar.
