Earner Harris is no stranger to being recognized as the Holley-Navarre Fireman of the Year. This year marks the third time he has received the award. He also earned the honor in 2002 and 2005.
“I wasn’t expecting it but it feels special be recognized,” Harris said. “I love this job, the people I work with and it’s nice to have my hard work pay off.”
Harris has been at the Holley-Navarre Fire Department since 2002, starting out as a volunteer before becoming a paid firefighter in 2008. Prior to moving to Florida, he spent four years as a volunteer fireman in Alabama.
