Several unlocked cars parked in Gulf Breeze residential driveways have been burglarized recently and two of the vehicles were stolen, police say.
“It’s mainly driveways of residences within the city,” said Gulf Breeze Police Sgt. Steve Neff. “Every time the car has been stolen the key has been left in the car, the doors unlocked.”
The crimes are occurring in several neighborhoods within the city limits and not concentrated in any particular one.
In addition to the two cars taken, there have been about a dozen vehicles burglarized.
