Gulf Breeze Black Widow’s tangled web

Judias (Judy) V. Goodyear was anything but good. She was a walking paradox. She would go one step further than a true black widow, however.

She would also be the first woman executed in Florida in 150 years.

And the first woman to die in an electric chair.

In 1978, she would change her last name to Buenoano (good year in Spanish)and move from Colorado with her three children to Gulf Breeze, Fla., leaving former husband Air Force Sgt. James Goodyear, a Vietnam veteran, and boyfriend Bobby Joe Morris cold and dead.
