Yesterday evening, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jim Domingues, the fugitive which they profiled just 2 days ago. With the assistance of the Santa Rosa County Crime Stopper Program and their Media partners, this individual is in jail.
Origionally, Domingues had an active felony warrant for a residential burglary. Deputies located him on Saturday and attempted to arrest him. During the handcuffing process, Domingues resisted the officer and ran away into a wooded lot with one handcuff attached to his hand. Deputies searched for several hours with negative results. Anonymous tips began to come in from the Santa Rosa County Crime Stoppers Program and Deputies were able to determine a general area in which Domingues was hiding. With the support of SRSO K-9 and an FWC air unit, Domingues was located but continued to run from Law Enforcement through back yards and private property. During the pursuit, Domingues was again located in a shed and refused to surrender. It was during this of the apprehension phase that as SRSO K-9 was utilized to retrieve Domingues. Domingues was immediately taken into custody without further incident ending a 3 day manhunt.

Jim Anthony Domingues
White Male- 38 years of age
Brown Hair – Blue Eyes
5’9 height 190 lbs
Domingues lives in the Eva St. area of Milton Florida.
CHARGES: 2nd Degree Felony – Burglary of a Dwelling
Domingues is also facing several additional felony charges stemming from an encounter today with Law Enforcement.
