While temperatures fell low enough to open cold weather shelters, residents in and around Santa Rosa County bundled up to wait outside Milton High School Friday night and into the wee hours of Saturday morning.
They were in line to get one of 628 tickets passed out during a Gulf Coast Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinic. The clinic provided free medical, dental and vision care to hundreds of residents in need at Milton High School Dec. 3 and 4.
RAM works with host groups throughout the United States and the world to provide these health clinics in areas where a need has been expressed.
