There were lines out the door waiting to get into the Navarre Conference Center Saturday morning, Oct. 1 in anticipation of the Navarre Women’s Expo hosted by the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (NBACOC).
Businesses from all over the Navarre area lined the conference hall giving ladies a look at the services and products they offered. Booths ranged from cosmetics and fashion to insurance and health to nonprofits and more. Entry was free and raffle prizes included facial scrubs, massages and even a golf lesson with a previous professional golfer.
NBACOC president/CEO Judy Morehead said the event is a great opportunity to connect women with businesses they might otherwise be unaware of.
“Expos in this area are amazing,” she said. “They bring people out who normally don’t come out. They mingle with each other. It’s an opportunity for them to get out and see what’s available without having to get out of the car 20 times to go into the buildings.”
