County’s closed-door meeting riles Tiger Point residents

Tiger Point residents’ worries over traffic safety around the new Sacred Heart clinic under construction on U.S. Highway 98 are growing after they were excluded from a closed-door meeting of county and state officials on the issue last week.

Members of a half-dozen homeowners groups have picketed the construction site to pressure Sacred Heart to place its entrance and exit to the new facility on U.S. Highway 98 instead of a two-lane stretch of Tiger Point Boulevard.
