For the first time in its history, the Holley-Navarre Water System (HNWS) will hold an election recount which will take place Feb. 12 at 8 a.m.
Water board candidate Bryan Duncan, who lost by a slim margin at the Jan. 20 election, successfully petitioned the board to approve the recount at its Jan. 27 meeting.
Longtime HNWS General Manager Ken Walker said it’s the first time a recount has taken place. “This is new for us all,” Walker said.
